CPD Course: COVID-19 and the strategies to manage mental health problems during the COVID-19 pandemic
On Wednesday, August 11, 2021, join us on the CPD "COVID-19 and the strategies to manage mental health problems during the COVID-19 pandemic", which is the first session of the Webinar Series "Tackling Noncommunicable Diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic".

Introduction: The SARS-CoV-2 virus continues varying and creating different variants that increasing the contagious speed and becoming more uncontrollable. Individuals with infection of SARS-CoV-2 present differently ranging from no apparent symptoms to severe illness and death. The main prevention intervention is vaccination, early intervention, and isolation of confirmed cases. World Health Organization has also emphasized that COVID-19 is a serious trauma that affects human psychology, making people susceptible to mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Serious psychological reactions have been detected in the quarantined subjects, health professionals, service staff and population living in the blockaded communities.
